He was great- I think we just have a very difficult goal to achieve. There are too many elements IN the logo - but it's what the client wants ... and the requirement to hand draw the books is proving difficult for both artists we have contacted. This will work for me to keep making changes the client wants myself as a designer... It felt like, he really wanted to get a firm understanding of what the goal was before beginning work, unlike other freelancers. If I could give any feedback for improvement it would be that San overthought what I was asking for, and while online messages can loose their effectiveness in communicating clearly, slowing down, really reading the responses, and carefully acting next with that response in mind would take San to the next level...! The delivery gives us a solid foundation to work with and will definitely make our future branding work much easier. At the same time, we would have loved to see more creative exploration during the design phase.
